Cool tune Jim! Love he low vocal tones...so reminiscent of some of the old Don Williams-Tom T Hall era songs! Now I know why my wife sometimes views the 10 plus guitars I have with disdain at times! why the singular? I love them all: My Gibson LP on mondays, my JB Strat on Tuesday, my MexStrat on... (to Maha, who's just entering the room): 'Just kiddin', love you every single day !!!!' (Maha left the room) ... Wednsdeays, my old Hopf Galaxy on Thursdays, my Ovation ... (t.b.c'ed).

Well... I've definitely been going about songwriting the wrong way!
Great vocals on this, really clever lyrics and love the key change at the end. I hope at some point I can get my recording skills and presentation up to this kind of quality in the future.

Jim, as soon as this started I thought of Tom T. Hall! Was he the Tom you were talking to at the bar, maybe about old dogs, children and watermelon wine?
Seriously this is really good. Your vocal was strong (and low!), your mix was perfect, but your lyrics took it over the top for me!
Unfortunately I listened to this via my monitors and my three basses left town! Thanks Mario... I really appreciate your kind comments & support... And I always love those little sayings you include in Signature tag.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
