To be honest, the intro didn't grab me, and the start was a bit underwhelming. ... wait for it ...  But then that lovely melody reeled me in by the middle of the first verse, and that major to minor chord move gets me every time. By the time you hit the restatement of the melody an octave higher on the second verse, I was hooked. Besides, I'm a sucker for major seventh chords. Gorgeous.

Hmm, yes I see your point, David. Intros can be tricky with BIAB sometimes. I'm never sure if I should let "the band that's always there" do its own thing or layer my own thing over the top.
Glad it grew on you. I'm partial to the major sevenths too. The verses actually start with a G6 and I threw a Cdim in the bridge just for some variation.
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

David has it - if you could make the solo reflect the melody - even a phrase - it would make more sense - as would a gentler instrumental performance of it.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
