Yeah, Scott. Like the name says. (Just in time for Halloween)
I liked the background level because for my tastes it supported the essence of the guitar sounds. A lot of pure expression, there. Solid string striking.

Thanks Floyd. Glad you liked the song. Gave the backtrack a bump after yours and Ray's suggestion.

Well done on the guitar playing Scott! I like the piece and its laid back style. It something to sit back a listen to after a busy day. You can crawl up on a couch and lose yourself in this piece. Keep coming up with gems like this one!

I agree that hearing aids are a problem in mixing. I have them also. I still haven't found a great solution to getting the proper settings in them to but I have adjusted to them. I find that I can now hear those high frequencies and upper mid ranges and were driving me crazy in the mix. I had one piece that the cymbals were so loud they drowned the mix out but to my ears it sounded good (that was without the hearing aids).

Wow, what an ethereal melody and tone. You guitar tiptoes lightly over the backing tracks to produce such a pleasing composition.

A very nice instrumental song.

Gentle, delicate guitar work delivers the piece beautifully.

Not what I expected from the title. wink

Interesting listen. I didn't initially grab my ear, but it grew on me the second through.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Scott.

This is a very restful presentation that seriously soothes the soul.

It's Sunday morning here in Melbourne, it's been raining overnight and the day looks a little bit gloomy and overcast... believe it or not your instrumental is a perfect fit and a terrific mood enhancer for the ambience the morning has created.

I enjoyed where you took me.

All the best,
Noel

Hi Scott,

this is excellent!

Very nice playing and I love the tone a lot. Creates a very special atmosphere. Like Ray mentioned the backing track might have been a bit louder for me, too, but maybe that might have even spoiled the vibe...

It's just great the way it is !'

Thanks David Yes I started the song out quietly and tried to build through the second verse and finish softly again. Was struggling with my hearing aids and the mix with the head phones.

Thanks Noel for checking out the song. So glad you liked it. Have some new delays and they are proving most helpful with the ambient feel to the song.

Thanks Stefan

Glad you liked the song. Yes I was trying to change the effect of the different verses. Lost a little in the translation :-) will work on the backtrack volumes.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
