What a tune! I'm picking up some Eagles influence here, which is never a bad thing. Love the groove, and the vocals knocked it out the park. It has a really nice vintage sound I enjoyed, and I thought the mix and production sounded really professional.

You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing smile

Smoking Hot!!!

What would be for us a very, very difficult task? Picking 12 of y'all's songs for an album smile

Killer sultry vocal and guitar to go with it.

Folks that have a shadow of doubt about how good RD's can be
need to listen to this.

And those RD's are laying down the base of an outstanding selection of backing tracks.

And the lyric is standout...one doesn't often hear that coolness in blues rock.

Y'all set the piano on fire and exited the stage smile

Very strong Blues. Liked it immediatly. The sologuitar did a very nice job.

And after that song, another great bluessong of you started playing: Here's to you!
Great listening those songs after one another! Valentines Way has to compete more and more against excellent songs from you!
but it is still the winner, but close. Too close.

Very nice work from the two of you!

Hans

Hi Hans,

Thanks very much! Maybe one day we will do a song that you like as much as Valentines Way smile

Thanks, floyd!

Yes, it has been a good year looking back at it. We both had extended vacations at different times this year, I think that helped; after not doing anything musically for a couple of weeks you tend to come back with fresh ideas.

Still hoping to get one more done before the end of the year though, I'm almost finished building a bed to send over to Chris wink

Another strong blues number, devil seems to have quite many blues musicians' souls already smile Great selection of BIAB instruments mixed very well, I especially like the reverb on guitars. Vocals and solo guitar playing are on the highest level - yet sounding fresh and effortless.

Yes, the outro is my favorite part too. Thanks, Peter!

Chris's sultry vocals and your (Dave's) smouldering lead guitar make this one hellishly hot track.
Love the lyrics too. A couple of standout examples: "sinners grin" and "the sky ain't fallin' but a fool will do".
Thanks for sharing this.

Great blues. You continue to be masterful at weaving your guitar around the vocal. The solo was on fire! I enjoyed this much.

The devil ain't down in Georgia, he's in Canada wink

Excellent groove you have going on here. It reminded me of Witchy Woman. Great vocal and very tasty guitar all rolled up in a very professional mix.

You two should be very proud of this on.

Chris, you sure got the hang of singing the blues, no doubt about that. And, Dave, your tasteful guitar playing and choice of tone is always a special treat.

It sounds good, because it simply IS good.

Take care,

Stefan

Some serious soul infused blues track you made! Hot stuff! I do not believe I have heard a single mediocre tune from you. This is not exception. Love it! For some strange reason, I get the vibe of LV#9 by The Searchers from this.

Thank you for sharing!

Interesting to hear that el.piano sitting high in the mix-sounds so good with the guitar solo.
Long may you run Blue Attitude... you guys are proof that the line between home studio and professionally produced music has all but disappeared.

Vocals? She does this stuff really well.

Hi Ray,

Getting the guitar levels right, especially during the fills, is something I spend a lot of time on. If I'm not sure I err on the side of caution and turn them down a bit, the vocal always has to be the star.

Thanks!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
