Wonderful vocals on a highly professional backtrack.
The change at 1:40 is so darn good... as is the vocalist`s phrasing, the bass and everything else.

A new song in almost all aspects.
A lovely job.
I'm not sure the lengthy bass centred "solo" works though - way to long and it really needs the vocal melody played with just a little bit to hold my attention. Hi rayc, Thanks for your initial kind comment. You have often criticized my tracks and most of the time you have been absolutely spot on with your critique (and I have learned a lot from you... thanks for that). This time, though, I have to disagree with you... I think the "lengthy bass centred solo" works fine.. it is not a uncommon thing to do in jazz music... could it be that your comment is born out of your dislike of the genre in general? Thanks again for always giving feed back to my tracks! I really appreciate it! Will

What a collaboration ... Will, the tune alone is extremely well-written and brought to musical life; your usage of BIAB has become galactic to me already a long time ago, but this one is so real... just like sitting in a bar, eyes closed and getting carried away by what you hear-
And what an unbelievable winndfall that you two found each other ! Heidi - you sing this in the most impressive way, it's just terrific!
I do hope that you will work together also in the future, because that would be an enormous benefit for this forum.

Excellent mix - clear and balanced. Great vocal. Like being in the room, without the distraction of the crown. I'm sure there were lyrics, but to be honest I was too distracted by the jazzy sound to pay much attention. I love it when a song carries me away to somewhere else, and this one certainly did.

Nicely done Will... Heidi's vocal really adds a fascinating dimension to your wonderful composition. I can see another benefit of participating in FAWM  Thank you, Jim! Great track all around. Really expressive and nuanced vocals from Heidi with that smoky jazz tone that I love. Very well mixed and produced too - the simplicity and spareness of the instruments let's the subtle vocals and the lounge vibe really shine through. Thanks a lot for your kind comments. Wow - I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It has a fantastic groove and I love how smooth it is. It flows like water, and the vocals are stunning here.
