What a fun, care-free song! It took but a couple of seconds to put a smile on my face!
Great BIAB backing tracks. And what a marvelous vocal!!! Made me feel happier and just a little more "comfy" as I listened. I really, truly like this. That was a delightful treat ... just what I needed.

Agreed!! Just a fun, happy song with a great delivery!! Crack me a Corona.......well......make that a Dos Equis! Take care. Greg
Ahhh, hot sand, cool breeze, and friends, What a great combination. A great feel, Elliott. Full moon, sunsets and a child's voice. Man! Great tune, with a perfect band and vocals. I was expecting to hear a steel drum solo, but the guitar was a welcomed surprise.
I hear a cheerful song, with a reggae touch, clear vocals and a strong chorus! Now I am thinking of making me a Rum and Coke ( Cuba libre), while just before listening to your song I will not drink today. So thanks you prevend me from doing that and pour me that drink! Very nice song! One tiny thing: I prefered it if your band plays a bit louder to the vocals, so they become more glued together (if you get what I want to say),
I did a remix using a new gain stageing techniques I just learned from watching YouTube mixing tutorials. Wow! What a difference in clarity and quality. Its like waving a magic wand over your mixes!

Pleasant little tune...at a perfect time!
And, yes, gain staging is task #1 when setting up a multitrack mix. It's about getting to the final loudness level with everything balanced to the ear. Different streaming services can have different requirements.
A good, free meter for measuring the loudness level on your stereo output buss, is the Youlean meter (I use the Pro version).
The guitar lead was from real tracks. I used the DirStraights solo gtr and generated several variations and cut and pasted edited it until I got the final lead.
Really nice work - you don't hear too many reggae songs here on the forums, so this was kind of a breath of fresh air Loved the groove, and the guitar solo fits perfectly in the mix.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
