For all of the brave souls working day and night to save us… Avalanche.

Summer days
The lost and found
Shades of green
An old ghost town
Voices fading
Old telephones
A changing world
Outside the zone

And I’m so buried
I’m so buried
I’m buried in your avalanche

Pictures hidden
Away in my mind
Somethings going down
The perfect crime
Whispers falling
On the pillow case
Sad blue eyes
Gone without a trace

And I’m so buried
I’m so buried
I’m buried in your avalanche

Bang your drum
East to west
Counter clockwise
This is not a test
Middle of nowhere
In the morning skies
The rain is falling
On the time that flies

And I’m so buried
I’m so buried
I’m buried in your avalanche

Bob,

A really nice sound/BAND on this. Perfect for the lyrics - allowing them to stand on equal footing with the production. And a very nice "relaxed" vocal. All mixed just as it should be.

Cool song.

Bob,
A simple, catchy melody perfectly jangled out by that 12-string. Quite glorious folk rock music and I like the sense of awe in the face of the "changing world" expressed in the lyrics.
Very good!

Loved the arpeggio on whichever guitar was doing it, great backing to your song. Great imagery as usual, and the song really delivered.

Very well done, Bob. The uncluttered arrangement really brings out the vocals. After listening I went for a cup of coffee, and kept singing the catchy chorus. Love your style, man.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Bob,

The scent of the folk rock of the late 60's drifts strongly.
Especially, I feel it when the chord goes to Bm once, and through F#7 and proceeds to A - G7.
I think it's a simple but very nice song.
12-string guitar fits this very well.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Very cool Bob. I too loved the jangly 12 string. Super vocal, lyric and backtrack

Bob,
Well written lyrics, signature performance. This sad tune listens very smoothly. I like that it is not instrumentally busy, you can focus on form and lyrics not getting distracted by soundscape. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Man, what a write!

We especially liked,

"Whispers falling
On the pillow case
Sad blue eyes
Gone without a trace"

The band definitely harkens back to the early Byrds groove.

And your vocal was nicely out front with well mixed harmonies.

You did an excellent job of letting the lyric shine and
we enjoyed it.

Bob, what a fantastic song. The backing tracks are perfect for your vocal. Plus those lyrics are fantastic. Great harmonies also.

Super job on this one.

Bob,

This is my favorite one you've posted. Magnetic melody. Poignant lyrics so expertly crafted.

Sometimes I like to quote my favorite lines in a song. With this one, I can't. I would need to quote the entire song.

Excellent work!
