I wrote a song in BiaB that contained the chord G13b9. I used the VST in my DAW, Studio One Pro, and the VST labeled the chord G13b9 in its chord sheet. But when I copied the chords over to my DAW via Pipeline's method the chord in Studio One was G7b9 13 9! This happened many times in this song.

This isn't a big issue as I know what the chord is supposed to be but I would like to know is this due to my system or is this a possible bug.

Thanx in advance for your time.

S1 seems to put them in it's name
In RapidComposer you can have alias names for the same chord.
I don't know if you can edit them in S1 ?

This is the BB Chord Output Midi for G13b9, if I key the notes in the Chord Selector that's what I get:

Yes I can edit them in S1 very easily. I was just amazed at that chord name.

Yes, those are the notes for G13b9.

On the topic of the BIAB plugin used in Studio One and how it transfers chords using the Pipeline method:

Has anyone else had chords that are two per bar in the saved BIAB song end up interpreted as one per bar once transferred into the Studio One chord list?
Something like this |Cm | Cm F7 | can turn out to be |Cm | Cm | F7 |
It pushes all the other measures later each time it happens. Not too hard to fix, but.....

It should get them in the right spot as below in the pic.
In Song > Song Setup > Bar Offset -2
I draw 4 bars or more from bar 1 for initial chord then run the script.
Make sure you load the current Song.txt by unfolding the chord sheet, saving the SGU in the BBvst then reload it first.

Using the same technique as Pipeline everything here worked fine. In fact both [C F,G] and {Am7,Dm7 G7} worked perfectly.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
