Thank you Mr Unpronounceable,

I hear you on your first paragraph.

This is appropriately filthy, low-life rock and roll. The sound is cleaned up considerably for record, but I think it would kick live with more overtones and general noise. The progression is defiant, and shame on your first guitar-player for not getting it. Your guy here did great. Next time, a bassoon solo?

Greatly enjoyed. Hang in there.

(ps. You might want to remove the broken link.)

Thanks you Tangmo,
Dead link removed.
Nothing like some filthy Rock n Roll from a bloke in his 60s and another in his 70s!
The master is a little gnarlier but I've two done and haven't been able to decide upon which to post as yet.

Ray, breaking the "basic" rules of chord structure is a great way to come up with something that is new, interesting and unique!! I think that you did a super job with this tune! You are a very talented musician who doesn't extol his own virtues but nevertheless has skills!! Thanks, Torrey

Thank you very much Torrey,
You write uplifting songs and you do the same in your written words.
I've added a video in the OP and here as well...

Good tune, I especially liked the vocals, sat in very nicely and just loud enough.

Excellent tune. Shades of Nirvana. Super vocal. Loved the guitar solo. Well done. Awesome production. Love it when you can clearly identify all the instruments in the tune ..

Ray,

Very Rock and very Punk!
I feel the Kinks very much in this tune.
Your real power is being fully demonstrated.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Thanks Tunemonger,
Once I realized no one else was prepared to sing it I worked on the voz a bit and brought the level to a more appropriate volume.

Scott,
Thanks you. The guitar, played by Louisiana Steve, is a cracker - he recorded 5 versions for me in 45 minutes. I just grabbed the 1st one as I'm lazy.

Peter,
Ta Muchly,
Nice solo indeed. The song was limp until that came along.

Greg,
cheers for that. Unconventional is a direct result of my lack of musical knowledge.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
