Easily your most accessible song since I've been here, but still lots of nice images and devices. "Like Hollywood" was my favorite. Great work!
Windows 10, Intel Core I5 10400, 16 gig ram, Scarlett 6i6, Komplete keyboard, Sony Acid Music Studio 11, BIAB 2020 UltraPlus Pak

Hi Robert,
I knew I was going to like this from the first bar and it didn't disappoint.
A completely beautiful song, which I felt could have been written by Tim Hardin, who I discovered in the 60s and still rate as one of the best lyricists I've encountered.
High spots? Your emotive vocal delivery and the part where the cello makes an appearance.
Wonderful.
ROG.

You know I have to say something about the lyrics. I had to read the lyrics before I listened to read it as poetry. Yes! One of your best.
The title intrigued me when I saw it on the forum. Good one.
The instrumentation and the melody paired perfectly with the lyrics.

Quite poetic lyrics. Nice song. Thanks! Well written song. Lots of references. That's tough to do. Nice use of the band. Tough to keep the song from becoming a long list. Thanks for your listen and comments. Robert,
I really love this.
The lyrics are incredible.
Great job man.
I appreciate that, David! Defo a nice lyrical soothing journey , enjoyed this.
Thanks I`m glad you liked this! Robert, an interesting write. Keeps the listener engaged. The chord progression is also very interesting and somewhat unusual. Your vocal delivers the story very well. I enjoyed listening,Tom Tom, Thanks for those positive comments. Robert

"we learned the star alphabet my hearts secret you read pick a love story from a hat it was better than that"
Of many good lines, these might be our favorites.
The Cleopatra/Dick/Liz reference certainly gets your attention. At least for those of us who remember some of the classics.
Your voice and the band really highlighted the great imagery all through the song and the mix sparkles on the monitors.
We're glad you rediscovered your 30 year old note.
Enjoyed it!
J&B J&B, I guess that Dick & Liz reference dates me- though maybe not as much as the Mr Darcy inclusion! Thanks for those very kind comments. A beautiful song Robert! I always admire the way you craft lyrics for songs! The shifting of imagery from one line to the next is masterful! Thanks, Torrey I appreciate that, thanks Torrey!

ROG. You made my day with the reference to Tim Hardin; I`m a few lifetimes from reaching his level, but still trying...many thanks for your generous review! Robert

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
