I wanted to thank all the BIAB users who made constructive comments on my last song. I made a lot of the suggestions you guys made and applied some of them to this song. I'm really proud of this one. It's about dealing with difficult times. Nice verse arrangement, decent vocal (needs so high end), cool verse but the melody of the chorus is a let down.
That's just me. I was expecting something more melodic and BIGGER in the chorus...you need some dynamic changes - to lift it and make it the message. "Yeah, OK, whatever" is a dismissive phrase that starts the chorus on a downer.

Hi Steve ...
Real nice song! Reminds me of very early 70s. I think a slightly different bass line would give this a little more punch. Maybe something like RT 1849 Bass, Electric, Modern Country, Synch EV16 100.
Just a thought, FWIW. Nonetheless, I enjoyed your song a lot!
