Having danced Tango for several years (the real Argentine thing, not the ballroom version), I can assure PG Music that there is a lot more to it than currently offered in Styles or RealTracks.

Tango has three different styles that are played in alternating sets (tandas) at every tango soiree (milonga) in Buenos Aires and around the world. Those styles are Tango, Milonga (faster), and Vals (Argentine waltz).

The original rhythm of the Milonga was the Habanera (dit-dit-dit-dum), as recently explained to me by Pablo Pugliese, the son of a famous pair of Tango teachers.

As has been pointed out, Tango does not use drums, so it would be especially gratifying if PG Music would develop such versions.

But the drums are NOT dead, since the newer generation in Argentina has embraced Tango Nuevo, which combines drums (often Techno) with traditional instrumentation and songs (see Gotan Project, or Otros Aires who last July played in New York City's Lincoln Center annual Tango event).

All in all, PG Music could easily compile an entire Tango Styles or RealTracks just based on Tango: Traditional Tango, Milonga, Vals, and Tango Nuevo.
