I created a piano solo in 6/8 and want to build as backing track for it but that time signature isn't an option. Advice on how to accomplish it?

I have been wishing for years for time signatures other than 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. BiaB is way behind the times on time signatures, no pun intended.
I believe your only option is to try 3/4.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

I thought so on the 3/4 but not the right feel but i will continue to experiment-- Orb Producer is another AI plugin that has 6/8 which I will try too...Thanks.....
I agree BTW that BIAB needs a Time Sig strategy update.

Mario is correct; your alternatives are that the song is based in 4/4 or 3/4. However, BIAB has styles that subdivide those two time signatures into various emulations. Have you tried selecting a 6/8 style?

Do 3/4 and double the tempo. Or halve it. Whichever way that works.
I smashed the hell out of my car today. When the cops came I told him "Officer, that guy was BOTH texting and drinking a beer." The cop said "Sir, he has every right to do that. I mean, it's HIS living room..."

My system shows about 50 styles are available if I choose a 6/8 time signature, but I agree that these are not genuine 6/8 styles, they are more like 4/4 played with triplets, usually at double-tempo.

I'm with Noel on this one. I choose a swing 8th 4/4 style and each 4/4 measure becomes two 6/8 measures or one 12/8 measure.
The trick is finding a compatible swing style to work for your song.
I also have a few EXPANDED styles that work to make a 3/4 measure half of a 6/8 measure at nortonmusic.com
