I'm trying to use my Boss GT-1 with Realband and the Boss driver is not working. I get the message "Error starting ASIO Driver". It seems I can only use the MME driver or the Windows Audio driver with success.

Am I missing something, or can I only use the MME or the Windows drivers?

Thanks for any help smile

So not all ASIO are the same. Combine that with the fact that RealBand is a bit finicky, this is a common issue. There was even a very recent discuss which may help you.

just a thought - if you have the proper asio driver installed are you plugging in the gt1 before you start RealBand? sometimes it makes a difference. i know i have to plug things in before i start RB toget RB to detect them.

Is there any chance you are trying to run two programs to ASIO concurrently. Say for example you have BB running and then open RB without first closing BB. If you try to run two programs to use ASIO concurrently you will run into issues. Sometimes it will stop the ASIO altogether and you need to restart the PC.

Just a thought but one that is very common.

Keep well.

If you're using Realband 2021, try updating to the latest build 3C: https://www.pgmusic.com/support.realband.htm#2021_3

Or the latest update for your version, of course.
