Everything fits and the lap steel is the icing on the cake (not that it's merely decorative - it's the perfect vehicle to bring the song to its conclusion). I like it. My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

Well sung and the outro was an inspired idea. The lap steel was great! I look forward to hearing more of that. I can relate to the theme. My grandparents, parents, siblings, children, grandkids, and great grandson all view the world differently in some respects but also with somewhat the same hope. Enjoyed,Tom

Drum and slide at the end is very cool! Nit: When the bass comes in, it initially sounds to me like it's playing a different song - just like you're lyric alludes to. The touch of harp here and there was nice. That RT is in our opinion the best in the harp catalog. Great tone. The acoustic guitars were excellent both in what they did and the tone. The overall build was very effective and we perceived a build in the intensity of the vocal also. I (Bud) want to play a fretless electric bass when I grow up And the outro...wow...outstanding.
