Interesting back story. I'd never heard the Rolling Stones song but as soon as the chorus started I agreed their song and her song are similar. Very nice the way they handled it.

Constant Craving was a hit on the Adult Contemporary station I was listening to at the time. When I heard the Stones, I thought “uh oh…” knowing how litigious Mick & Keith are. That they did a preemptive settlement was not only classy, it was good business.

I did know this story about "Has Anybody Seen My Baby". The way the story goes is that either Mick or Keith was playing the song for one of their daugthers and she said it sounded like the K. D. Lang song. And, in another Stones copyright story, did know the Verve had to give Mick and Keith songwriting credits on their hit "Bitter Sweet Symphony? Link to song: https://youtu.be/1lyu1KKwC74The Stones manager did a record of orchestra arrangements of Stones songs and one of them was "Last Time". The Verve used a sample of the song. You can hear is clearly as the introduction to their song and then throughout the recording. Mick and Keith recently transferred all ownership of the song to the Verve's Richard Ashcroft.
