Big Bad Bill Is Sweet William Now I've been humming and hawing about posting a Public Domain song for a while. However finally I decided to do so - primarily for a change from posting originals. Also I like hearing covers from my favourite artists - it's a guide to their development and what new ideas they can "bring to the table". Fundamentally - this is one of my all time favourite songs. The original song was written by Milton Ager (music)and lyrics by Jack Yellen in 1924. This song is now in the Public Domain. My 2021 version features: Vocals, arrangement and production - Nigel Spiers Bass - Byron House Piano - Kevin McKendree Drums - Brian Fullen Guitar - Steve Hinson Trumpet - Don Clark BIAB Style =DRJ_RES.STY (modified)

Great tune.
First heard it off Ry Cooder's "Jazz" album a few decades ago.
There's a lot of similar music on that record.
Nice to hear it again.
