It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

EVERYBODY is in the pocket and hittin' the note.

It has the vibe of an extremely well honed band playing in a club.
And drawing folks in constantly off the sidewalk smile

The absolute definition of a toe tapper and we're glad you brought
it back!

This is outstanding.

Might happen, now that we have reconnected that is certainly a possibility. Thanks, Mario!

I didn't know that tune (in 2010 I was far too young, haha), so I'm really glad you presented that re-mix here today.

Toe-tapping stuff and so well-played by all of you: Dave, great job on the guitar. Marty, spot on, Mr Bassman. Great sax stuff, Andy.

And Mr EZD2 (also part of my band every now and then) once again really drove the nails home.

Congrats on this one, guys!

Stefan

Thanks Stefan, it was a fun one to do and Marty certainly kicked things up a couple of notches wink

Fun is what it's all about, thanks, Tangmo!

I guess you're doing what all the kids are doing. Taking something from the past and making it new again. The difference is it's your own music each time! wink

REALLY great song my friend!

Really appreciate that, thanks, Caaron!

A big WOW. (I remember it from before. Great "upgrade").

Cool vocals. Sweet sax!

Marty's bass is heaven.

Dave - LOVE your playing AND tone here. Chills.

Mix is excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Can't sit still...

That guy is a monster player! I dig all those guys that do the swing blues style, Duke Robbilard is another that comes to mind. Thanks, Scott!

Hi Dave, Marty and Andy,

A nice swinging song from the old box. I can imagine a lot of people like it a lot.
It's played and remixed perfectly, like I'm used from you.
So a successful remix!

It is not really my taste, although I noticed my right feet was tapping. The sax must have caused that.
But after listening to it and browsing a bit on your site. Beautifully done by the way. In soundCloud you can't do something like that,
but back from Borneo..., I listened to Valantines way a couple of times. That's more my taste. Can't you do something like this one time?

So, great compliments for your song and also a request!

Hans

Dave, Marty, Andy,
BEYOND COOL!
Was not here for original, but remix + Marty sure sounds fantastic!
Everything top notch. Really enjoyed this one. Could be a very interesting collab, if Andy joins BA team for a gig or two.
Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

P.S. Yes Dave, when we will see RT's made for us?

I like to do lots of different styles of music, and swing blues has always been a favorite. Keeps things fresh to change things up. Valentines Way is a good song, but we have already done it, don't want to do variations of the same song every time. wink

Thanks for the listen!

Yeah, I can see it now. You have the choice of using a realtrack from Brent Mason or Dave Bell eek

Thanks, Misha, very much appreciated!

Don't really do this style much anymore, but dabbled quite a bit back in the day.

Thanks, Torrey! I see you have a new one up, I'll be along shortly to give it a spin.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
