God bless you, Don. You'll be missed on the forum. Maybe you'll be able to work something out to get on the 'net now and then.

Don,
You will probably make a bunch of new friends in there -- it is just your personality. I bet they do have some internet access in there. Good luck on your new place.

Don,
This is a MAJOR loss for this forum.
Thanks for your forum posts through the years.
I hope you'll still be able to read the forum, at least. You will REALLY be missed here.
May God bless you in the most wonderful way!
You're in my prayers.

Don,
You will be one of the gentlemen I will surely miss on the forum. I wish you the best in your new venture and with fingers crossed I am hoping for some Internet access for you in the near future. Hey volunteer to play them a few tunes every week in exchange for jumping on one of the house computers every now and then, or maybe have them pay you enough to pay for a wireless card (65.00 @ month or so) for your computer, there must be a way.
Best to ya Don,

Hi Don, always enjoyed your postings. You know what -> you may easily take your internet access with you these days via these tiny Mobile Broadband WAN sticks. Don't give up on all the fun, pal.

Don,
We would love to be able to stay in touch with you. You've always been a voice of reason and a kind and gentle soul. We don't want you to be gone from the forums.
Maybe there is a "house" computer for you to use. They have to have some sort of internet access there.

Don,
I'm really sorry to hear about your situation.
What internet acces concerns; I can't believe that the facility doesn't have internet acces. So it should be a small thing to add a wireless router or even just an accespoint for you to connect to the net and stay in touch with the world. If there is anything we can do for you to keep you online please let us know.

Don,
What's the name of the facility that one of us might be able to call them and check for you?

God bless you. My prayers will be with you. 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell[a] in the house of the LORD Forever. The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
