Have you tried RealBand? It has very similar features and is more DAW-like.

Thinking further about my above reply, perhaps it would be better to become more familiar with BiaB at the moment before venturing and exploring other products. There already is a big learning curve for you with BiaB

One path, of course, would be if PG acquired "SuperDAW".
But even in that case, I would say, "Please take all those new engineers and put them to work on the stuff that makes BIAB what it is. Carve SuperDAW up for parts and focus on BIAB. I don't need another DAW."
The software was made for practicing guitar and a lot of users will still use it for that or Live shows. It has gradually become more like a DAW now with the extra Util tracks as many user want to stay in Biab as it is quick to generate. If it becomes a DAW it will be behind other DAW's a bit like RealBand is.
The BiabVST will work in ANY DAW of your choice, it just needs more development as I suggested for Instant Generate & Play that is one of the reasons users are staying in Biab.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
