Based on a true story cool.

Lyrics are included on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYhCCIuzUd4

I wrote this song this last summer and I set out to do everything on keyboard as I had just bought the M-Audio Keystation49 MK3 on sale for $99 (regularly $119). With limited keyboard skills, I did this simple song, bass, keyboards, and pad I played from the keyboard and the provided plugins that came with it. It's unbelievable what you get for $99, the keyboard, and over 2,000 sounds.

At the end of the day, I couldn't resist and added guitar.

After the great data loss of 2021, I now don't know what I did for the drums, perhaps BIAB, perhaps EZDrummer2. The only record I have of the tune is on YouTube.

Thanks in advance for checking it out.

Very relaxing song with a touching lively romantic story.
The interpretation has very personal touch - really like the nostalgia in your voice. Also enjoyed the guitar playing.
The video images support the story well.

I didn't know Sangria was bottled.
When I drank I didn't mind this sort of punch at all.
Nice story - 1975 - I was an ancient 18.
I'm glad you added the guitar it really works.

Cheers

Nice song, good singing and great guitar. A few of the lyrics didn't flow as well as they could have. But still an enjoyable song. Nicely done!

I like this one a lot! As TuneMonger said, it could have had a bit more flow... but it doesn't really detract from the song.

Sorry to hear of the Great Data Loss of 2021.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

$99!!

M-Audio Keystation49 MK3 sells for $429 Aussie dollars over here (that's USD $320). You sure got a bargain.

Liked your song. It was worth a 2nd listen.

Take care,

Ghostgum.

Frank, this is a fantastic song. Loved those background synth sounds. Super groove and vocal. Great bass line and wow what a sweet guitar! Excellent video also.

Two thumbs up.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
