Hallo Forum! Ich bin neuer User von Biab und habe mich gleich mal bei euch angemeldet. Ich habe mir Biab, vor zwei Tagen, als Megapakversion beim örtlichen Musikgeschäft gekauft. Es ist übrigens die 2009er Version- irgendwie blöd, da ich jetzt den vollen Preis für die "alte" Software gezahlt habe  Aber da bin ich selbst schuld, habe einfach kopflos zugegriffen... Von den Realtracks bin ich begeistert, das ist wirklich eine tolle Sache! Gestern wurde noch das Realpak Vol.1 Jazz gekauft und die ersten Ergebnisse klingen schon klasse! Nun meine eigentliche Frage: Darf man Backingtracks oder Demosamples die man erstellt, beispielsweise in einem Forum, veröffentlichen? Gruß und frohe Ostern Alex

Hallo Alex, wenn Dir der Musikladen eine alte Version 2009 verkauft hat, obwohl Version 2010 schon auf dem deutschen Markt ist, sollten sie Dir eigentlich einen Eintausch ermöglichen - außer Du hast einen Sonder-Abverkaufspreis bezahlt. Der dt. Vertrieb ist übrigens M3C (www.m3c.de), wenn Du mehr Infos willst. Ggf. kannst Du auch mit Kaufbeleg beim PGMUSIC-Support in Canada direkt mal nachfragen, ob Sie Dir einen 2010-Download anbieten. Die sind id.R. recht kulant. Wenn da nix geht, würde ich bis zum jährlichen Sommer-Special von PGMusic warten (meist Juli oder August), dann gibt's die nächste Version 2010.5 in Kombination mit neuen RealTracks und Bonusmaterial immer zum Sonderpreis als Update. Diese Sonderaktionen gibt's immer im Sommer und zu Weihnachten. Registriere Dich bei PGMusic, dann wirst Du per Newsletter informiert. Bis dahin kannst Du aber mit Version 2009 die allermeisten Funktionen verwenden und lernen. Denk aber auch an die Fehler-Updates. Hallo Ralf, danke für deinen informativen Beitrag! Ich hatte auch schon überlegt, ob ich mich mit dem Support von PG Music in Verbindung setze. Ich könnte ja mit einer Kopie, oder einer Fotografie der Rechnung klar belegen, dass ich die alte Version nach dem Release erworben habe. Im Musikladen war man auch nicht wirklich mit Band-in-a-Box vertraut, und konnte mir auch keine tiefergehenden Informationen zum Produkt geben. Im Moment bin ich allerdings eher dazu geneigt, mich mit der Version zufriedenzugeben, und mich an den Realtracks und den umfangreichen Möglichkeiten zu erfreuen. Habe gestern den ganzen Tag mit Probieren verbracht. So gravierend werden die Unterschiede ja nicht sein Ich upgrade dann wahrscheinlich, zu einem günstigen Zeitpunkt (danke für den Tipp;)), direkt zum Ultrapak. Updates werde ich machen. Hi Alex,
stimmt, wirklich gravierend nicht, aber das mehrfache Undo, das erheblich schnellere Rendern der RealTracks, das Freezen der Realtracks und einiges mehr der 2010er Version möchte ich nicht mehr missen. Aber bis Sommer sollte die 2009er schon ausreichen. Viel Spaß!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
