Yes, we're definitely 'not going out to play' any time soon - not until the 'immortal' anti vacc'ers have finally realised that Covid really DOES exist and shuffled off this Earth.
We'll stay home and listen to great music likd ths!! Top Class.
I always learn something new when Listening to your BB productions.

Your vocals are always top shelf, my friend. And wow, those horns!!!! You know how to use those things! And, as Herb said in so many words, the organ is just so sweet!

Every time I read your lyrics in German, I learn something new. I guess you didn't realize you are also a German language teacher ... Ha!

Di and I think of you guys all the time. Please take care. Big hugs to Maha from both of us ...

PS: You can have a hug, too!

Dear Alan,

what a very, ery nice comment on my song - you know that I do appreciate your opinion so much, because you're such a marvellous musician.

It's nice to hear that the German translations on my website are helpful to you. Y'know, ages ago I wanted to become a German teacher (which luckily didn't happen, I must say now...), but this way it finally closes the circle smile
.

All the very best to dear Di and you - we're thinking of you both a lot.

Speaking of expression, your vocals are always so right-on when it comes to expressing your feelings. The production and mix sound perfect to me. Oh Marty,

you did it again: blush blush blush blush - You're not talking about me, are you..

Thanks so much, man, I'm totally flattered and don't really know what to say. So I repeat myslf: Thank you so much.

Stefan, you sell yourself way short regarding the mix. It is excellent.

As always the horns are superior .. nothing else like them on the board.

As regards the sentiment we could not agree more.

And, as always, your vocal performance nailed the lyric and melody in style.

Best to you both during the holiday season ... and stay home!

Very nice song!
"Laten we thuis blijven".
Yes, there not much else to do here in the Netherlands.
Just went back to a complete lockdown.
The song cheered us up a bit, though.

Hi Ian,

you're so right ... ! We shiver when we're reading or watching the news from the IK, Norway and The Netherlands, knowing that it's only a matter of a few days until Omikron will take us hostage over here, too. It's so terrible. And it really doesn't seem that there's any light at the end of the tunnel. And we do know who is pouring oil into the fire - hard to keep one's good manners, innit?

Thanks for the kind review - I'm glad you liked the song.

Merry Christmas and all the best for 2022,

Stefan.

A bit late to the party on this one, haven't had much time for PGMusic lately.

Really well done, Stefan! First of all, a great song, I really like the groove and the arrangement. And of course the sentiment, "lets stay home", is right on the money.

Great vocal! And man, I always love what you do with horns.

Wishing you two all the best for the holiday season, and hoping that 2022 will be a better year for Maha.

Hi Janice and Bud,

I always appreciate your kind and supporting comments so much - thanks a big hunk.
As to the mix: I'd feel much better, if Maha'd take finally over.

Since everybody mentions the horns: Maybe I should have a go at an instrumental one day... Looks like we can't go out much anyway in the year ahead...

Once again thank you so much!

All the ebst,

Stefan

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
