If possible, can you mark the VST independent version, such as VST, or change the color icon. I often make mistakes I don't want to change it to another icon myself See if the official can change it
The PG Music development team should, instead of improving the fundamentals of the program, such as microchords or step-by-step solos, waste its time modifying an icon (!!!), which takes 10 seconds?
On the Mac, there's an application named "BBM4" that has a different icon (blue instead of gold, and with an electrical plug). Apparently this is invoked invisibly in the background when you use the plugin, which I don't. If you double-click it for chuckles and yucks, nothing happens.
The solution to my problem is, don't do that. Don't double click that icon, try not to look at it, try not to even think about it ever again.
("Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I go like THIS!" / "So, don't go like THIS!")
My nitpick is, it would be more user-friendly if this were tucked away somewhere out of sight, as opposed to side by side with the application. As it is, it looks like something important that I should probably learn about.
If you do, it's in the BB folder for several executable that are called "under the surface", though I imagine you know that.

Right click on the Band-in-a-Box shortcut Select Properties Select Change Icon Choose different Icon
The Standalone plugin does not have many to choose from.
In the taskbar, I often confuse some mistakes, so I hope to make some color adjustments. It doesn't matter on the desktop, the desktop will be replaced, or the name will be returned. But the taskbar is not visible.
I have both the Band-in-a-Box Standalone Plugin and the Band-in-a-Box 64 bit program pinned to the taskbar. The normal icon (to the left) is the plugin and the blue background icon (to the right) is the 64 bit program.
When I open the Band-in-a-Box program both the desktop shortcut icon and the taskbar icon revert to the standard icon. Close the program and both revert to the optional icon.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
