A month ago I posted a song with this explanation: "Hey Guys...I found an old song that's been setting on a shelf in an old master tape for 35 years...it's a Boogie-Woogie gospel piece called "Jesus is the Answer"...it has this crazy piano accompaniment by my cousin Larry Simmons (yes, I have a cousin Larry) and me singing with a youthful voice (long since passed)...anyway I think it needs a guitar part as well but I have not been able to match up the right one from BiaB." Well I think I found the solution...it was Brent Mason (who would have thought right?)...so I'm reposting to let the kind folks who responded to my first post know that I finish what I start (sometimes)...you don't have to comment again but it's always fun for me when you do...thanks for listening Jesus Is the Answer https://soundclick.com/r/s8jkvv revised version...so this is the next evolution of my boogie gospel song.

Perfect retro sound Dan! The reverb heavy vocal works really good on this! It's a beautiful sound all around music and vocals! Glad you dusted this one off and gave it a fresh take! Thanks, Torrey

Really good vocal, crisp backing, a solid performance all around. Preachers condemned this style of music in the 50s, shows you how times change.
