OP BLONG Enthusiast Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 51	https://soundcloud.com/user-76836945-522642460/running-free?si=f860efa9f59c481d851d064acf3fa355&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing The bank last week repossessed my Camaro My girlfriend left with some guy she met in a bar From all accounts he is a really nice fellow Man I'm really gonna miss that car Maybe I can get a ride with the redhead who lives next to me I watched her through her window last night she appeared to be free or at least reasonable as far as I could see I lost my job 'cause I have no transportation And it's hard to date when you are always on foot The restraining order caused my neighbor's celebration My furnace puts out no heat only soot How am I to keep warm at night with no one to lie next to me I've nowhere to go nothing to do I cannot even afford a TV I could lie on the floor and count my blessings but I never make it to three I just got evicted from my studio apartment That's okay because there is no heat It was slightly smaller than my car's glove compartment And I had to use a milk crate as a seat Now I'm standing in a police line up with another vagrant next to me Contemplating my current life and how it came to be I decided to blame my ex-girlfriend for letting me run free.

TuneMonger Veteran Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 2,392 Maryland	Yeah, the line "I'm really gonna miss that car" is worth the price of admission. I liked this a lot, fun lyrics, good vocal. The prosody was somewhat plodding, if it were smoother (maybe up the tempo?) it would be more pleasant. But not a huge deal and it didn't stop me from enjoying the song. Good work!
