OP Ronnie Fields Journeyman R Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 469 United States	I went to a Christian Men's Retreat this past weekend, and the theme was "First Responder", and I sat down on the second day of the retreat, and wrote the chorus, and on Sunday wrote the verses, I recorded it yesterday.. https://soundcloud.com/ronniefields/first-responder First Responder . I see people everyday, it seems that they are lost, they do not know the Lord, they do not know the cost. The sacrifice he made for them on a hill called Calvary, so they could live a life eternally. I want to be a first responder, a person you can lean on, with the troubles in this life. Lord, let me be a first responder, ready at any time, to fight the creator of strife. Satan says, why bother, leave them alone they’re mine, How easily he forgets, about a certain time. When he thought he had Job, he failed so miserably, Job praised the same God, as you and me.. My only nitpick is that the harmony track seems to overwhelm the main vocals. If I was mixing this I would maybe pan them out drop the volume and add some reverb for depth. Thanks for posting this. Like mentioned above, I also thought the harmonies were competing a little with the lead vocal.
