Torrey, IMHO this is your best to date.
Loved that groove, vocal, and your outstanding lead work.
Everything about this is top shelf.
Loved it.

Way to go Torrey - another great one, you're on a roll. Never heard the first one, but I sure like this one. Hard to pick out my favorite parts -Great intro, a lot of neat surprises and as usual, loved your guitar sounds. Thanks Brad! I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment! T

Hi Torrey,
Your introduction of the song promised a lot and you didn't dissapointed me! Very Funky song, with a powerfull beat. Well, I enjoyed it all ("of course", I think I must say by now), but I liked the long outro of the song even more!
And I fully agree with your statement we don't have to break our brains on the question what song we have to make, given modern times. A lot of people like the music of the older times too. I even think they soon become the new modern music...

Funky, Rocky, Fun!
Torrey, Wonderful guitar playing! Ace vocals and composition! Good traditional vibe with modern spice. Very creative composition. Arrangement and mix A+ listens very well. Definitely radio ready. Thank you for sharing.
Misha.

Torrey, Fantastic musicianship on display- I remember the original and you`ve upped your already impressive game here- your vocals and all instruments are energetic and capture the feel of your musical heroes. There`s a pro level polish to this- very well done!

What a masterfully done production, Torrey! Hey, I like the new portrait. This past year had me working a bit with photo-to-sketch software and I'll have to say, you hit it out of the park with this graphic. Bottom line, you're hitting on all eight!

Top quality (as usual); hard act to follow. The outro was unusual but it worked well. Thanks so much Ghostgum for taking time to listen and comment! I appreciate it! T

I gave up keeping up with music decades ago. I guess I, like many, are stuck in a music time loop. What a music treat! So much going on to please my ears. The production sounds like it was done in a professional studio.

Really good stuff, Torrey! You don't really need to rely on BIAB because you are such an amazing musician. I on the other hand, need BIAB to be my whole band. While the song was half way through I was getting ready to suggest adding some surprises in the melody/production to to keep the listener engaged but then your "ooh, ooh, ooh's" came in and gave me what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing your talents! Thanks Dewey! I appreciate the kind words! T

Torrey...another stellar song...this certainly has a live band feel to it...the drums are perfect and have a very "there's a guy in the corner" playing the drums feeling...the guitar work is flawless and I'm jealous of the keyboard playing! and man I love the harmonies you add to the vocals...they are always so tasteful and tight...I appreciate what you wrote about the song (your motivation) as well as the lyrics...watching or feeling like your gifts are waning and/or not keeping up is a challenge that I am acutely aware of...so I appreciate the encouragement to "keep on keeping on"...as I try to tell the "young" people in the praise band I play with..."we play for an audience of One"...I personally need to keep track of that.
Great song and production! Thanks so much Dan for thoughtful comments! I appreciate it! T

More please! Janice said that listening to this certainly brought joy to her heart so please keep making this music of yours.
Awesome vocals, playing, mix and arrangement and the outro is so cool.
The Steely Dan influence on your music is always very pleasing.
Enjoyed it! Rock on.
J&B Thanks J&B! I really appreciate that! T

Fagan and Becker were oozing out from every note of this song.
Extremely well done Danisk production.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
