Bob, What a fresh and out of the box write. Creativity of the poet laureate of the board on display here.  And the production fits perfectly. Salute! (I do admit I might be a wee bit prejudice when it comes to my former partner in rhyme. HA!) Josie PS. Just an aside. The only thing I distain are the lousy Soundcloud ads - good grief. You should move to youtube - the ads at least seem shorter and the listener can click skip.

Other have pointed out the lyrical brilliance of this song, and I will too. It's one of those songs where I say to myself, "I wish I would have written that." Very good in all aspects.

It would be difficult to better express the tune than floyd's comment. "Poetic without being "flowery." A simple complexity." We assuredly are happy that you opened that drawer. The vivid pictures in your lyric are outstanding and memorable. But you also choose just the right RT’s to even more vividly present the lyric with your vocal. The softness of the fingerpicked acoustic against the “crispy” electric held chords works wonderfully. The line, “Coltrane spins in the dark” was a real treat. Janice said she could easily imagine Lucinda swaying back and forth singing this song. Cool! J&B

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
