ich habe alles Mögliche versucht, aber ich kriege es nicht hin, dass mein selbstgebauter Style (mit Realtracks) im Stylepicker erscheint. Den eigenen Style habe ich mit _wk2 benannt. Bei Biab 11 wurde er im Picker erkannt, bei 2021 leider nicht mehr. Beim Aufbau "pg mit Drittanbieter..." kommt nach Durchlauf die seltsame Meldung "..Benutzer und Drittanbieter nicht vorhanden - das ist normal..."?! Abgespeichert habe ich ihn unter bb/styles, müsste also auch korrekt sein. Weiß jemand eine Lösung?
Hallo, Wolfgang (oder Rudolf? ;-) Willkommen im Forum! Um sicher zugehen, habe ich eben (mit BiaB 2022/Windows) einen eigenen Style zusammengestellt und unter dem Namen _TestFun.sty abgespeichert. Das funktioniert bei mir problemlos, nach einem vollständigen Neuaufbau der Styleliste wird der neue Style angezeigt, er liegt auch bei mir im Ordner bb/styles. Um hinter die Ursache zu kommen, warum das bei dir nicht funktioniert, ist es für die Fehlersuche immer hilfreich, wenn du in deinem Post ergänzt, welches Build von Band in a Box 2021 du nutzt und ggf. unter welchem Betriebssystem. 1) Möglicherweise wird dir dein neuer Style nicht angezeigt, weil du im Stylepicker Filter gesetzt hast? Klicke doch mal auf die Schaltfläche "Aufheben", das löscht alle Filter. 2) Es gab in Version 2021 einige Probleme mit dem Stylepicker. Das aktuellste Build von 2021 ist 2021.845. Hast du diesen Patch installiert?

Hallo Brille, danke für die rasche Antwort. Ich habe die Version 2021 soeben auf das Build 845 aktualisiert, mein Style wird aber auch nicht angezeigt. Die Filter sind alle entfernt. PC läuft auf Windows 11. Der Name Rudolf war schon besetzt, also habe ich meinen zweiten Vornamen hinzugenommen, somit Rudolf Wolfgang.
ich glaube, ich bin der Sache auf der Spur: unter bb/styles wird mein Style mit 240KB Größe zwar angezeigt, aber auf Festplattenbelegung mit 0. Alle normalen Styles sind auch auf der Festplatte mit der gelisteten Größe angezeigt.
Dann ist es in der Tat wahrscheinlich, dass beim Speichern des Styles etwas schiefgegangen ist und die Datei möglicherweise nicht abgeschlossen wurde. Versuche es mit dem aktuellen Build doch noch einmal, den Style zu bauen, es ist ja recht übersichtlich, das noch einmal zusammenzustellen.

Gelöst! Es war gar nicht Biab sondern - wieder einmal - die Freigabe von Ordnern in Windows. Nach der Neuinstallation von WIN11 war der Ordner bb/Styles nur für "Lesen" freigegeben. Ich habe dann die Freigabe auf "Jeder - lesen/schreiben" geändert und alle meine eigenen Styles wird im Picker erkannt. Vielleicht hilft das so manchem anderen User auch.
Prima, das das gelöst ist. Allerdings sonderbar, dass Win11 die Zugriffsrechte auf den bb\styles-Ordner beschränkt. Ist das bei allen Ordnern unter \bb der Fall? Dann solltest du auch dort die Rechte ändern, denn auch die Programmeinstellungen werden ja in die ini's dort geschrieben. In jedem Fall ist es eine gute IDee, wenn du den Titel dieses Threads noch einmal etwas "sprechender" umbenennst, damit das Problem deutlich wird, und dann ein [Resolved] oder [Gelöst] dahinter setzt. Dann finden andere User Problem und Lösung schnneller (Dein aktueller Titel "Stylepicker" ist dafür etwas sparsam ;-).

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
