Hello, forum friends

I would like to post a song by Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku after about one year.
Hatsune Miku is Japan's first vocal synthesizer.
Various vocal synthesizers are currently being developed, but Miku is still my favorite vocal synthesizer because of its cute voice.
In my latest song, Miku gently sings lover’s heart that sways with the changing seasons.
Any comments encouraged.
Always welcome.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi

Summary of lyrics:

Spring is coming
A chance encounter with you
Summer is coming
I'm thinking of you
Autumn is coming
I feel a little chilly
Winter is coming
My wish reaches you

Spring is coming
With dancing petals
Summer is coming
With flowers blooming in the sky
Autumn is coming
I'm so happy
Winter is coming
I'm with you today too

Spring is coming
We tend to pass each other
Summer is coming
I notice we were just friends
Autumn is coming
I have mild irritation
Winter is coming
I'm walking on the ruts

Spring is coming
Hand to hand
Summer is coming
Hand on hand
Autumn is coming
Hands together
Winter is coming
We're apart

Spring is coming
Falling cherry blossoms
Summer is coming
My pillow is wet
Autumn is coming
I stay at the back of my past school building
Winter is coming
There isn't even a faint warmth

Spring is coming
With a small cry
Summer is coming
With voices wandering the night
Autumn is coming
With voices of white flowers
Winter is coming
With another small voice

Spring is coming
Flowers are blooming
Summer is coming
A continuous chorus of cicadas outside
Autumn is coming
All the leaves of the trees wither
Winter is coming
Now we must say goodbye

Spring is coming
Buds open again
Summer is coming
The sky stays blue
Autumn is coming
In a deep sleep
Winter is coming
I can go see you again

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

From my (westernized) musical point of view, the singing sounds rather cute than natural, but I know that especially female singers in your country sing differently than in ours, so I can't really judge that.

Other than that, I think your song is very beautiful, and from what I read in the translated lyrics, a very romantic song.
I like it!

Your arrangements are always so beautiful! You really know what you are doing! The mix is wonderfully put together! I love the melody of this song! Very good use of the vocaloid synth!

Thanks, Torrey

Man, you always post the most interesting tunes, Shigeki. I love the simple melody and the vocaloid did a very engaging rendition. Those strings sing in my language and i love the use of the harp. Thank you for including the lyrics; they bring another dimension to the song. Still, I like it just the way it is. your arrangements are always so professional. Much enjoyed!!

Enjoy whatever happens!

A lovely, lovely song and melody!!! My son watches a lot of anime, and I could imagine a song like this in that genre. The voice is pretty sweet....they're getting pretty good at that stuff! Always love your beautiful songs!!! Take care. Greg

Beautifully laid out piece. All the elements worked so well together. Mix is superb. Melody was a little bit repetitive, but not a whole lot. I enjoyed listening to this very much.

Beautiful pop song with balanced mix. Lovely strings, used very elegantly, naturally bringing thoughts of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Harp is also very gentle. I really enjoyed the chord progression, especially the changes between the minor and major mood. Miku has very nice voice and it really fits the romantic lyrics.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
