I am using BIAB 2022 upgrade along with Logic Pro. When I open a BIAB song file in the DAW app with the intention of bringing the tracks into Logic, only the instrument tracks from the original style load. The additional RealTracks instruments I have put and edited in Utility Tracks in BIAB do not load with the other tracks. I can add them from scratch in the DAW app but this defeats the purpose of crafting those tracks in BIAB and is much more cumbersome to work with. I have asked support for help. So far they have been very nice but have provided no answer as to how to correct his. The problem has been referred to "the developers" for help but it has been a couple of weeks with no answers. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it.

That is a feature still in development. I am hoping that gets fixed in 2023. It is working to some degree in the window 2023 app. There are still a few issues that the PGM staff is working out.
Work around in the mean time is to drag those tracks to the drop and drag area in BiaB main and drag them fro there into Logic. It is really not much work and works flawlessly.
In the DAW plugin I don’t use it just as a pass through. If I want to add more than the style tracks I move them over and add the utility tracks in the DAW plugin.

Personally I quit using the DAW plugin with Logic. It just seemed too buggy and cumbersome.
Maybe it will get better in the future.

I used it a lot last year in both Logic and Studio one. I will say it does need some work but if you use it for simple addons it can be very useful, on bigger projects i just drag and drop for BiaB

Could you give me an idea of how to do what you do i.e. "drag those tracks to the drop and drag area in BiaB main and drag them from there into Logic." as I am not clear on how to do that. I am an old analog era musician trying to get up to speed in the digital recording world and would appreciate anything you can point me to.
Thanks

Sorry I was out of town on a business trip. Yes if you drag tracks to the box left upper corner it is pretty easy. Click the daw plugin button and open the DAW and drag there.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
