I read the lyrics first. They stand on their own without any music. The music is fantastic. I particularly like the flute synth in the beginning and throughout the song. It adds another dimension to this alternate dimension song. My new favorite.

Thank you for your support! "The words come so fast" Yeah... I didn't realize that this was a bit fast for me, until I actually stood in the front of the mic smile

Rob,
Thank you for listening and your feedback!

Ray,
Thank you for listening and your fun feedback! "Jethro Tull will be furious" LOL. I assure you, this was not the intention to try to steal a lick from the master. It just came together, more of an impro than something planned.

Brad,
Thank you for listening and your feedback. I usually re-mix or do final mix EQ after I get some suggestions here or when my ears heal and forget it a little. So I am especially thankful for your honest remark.

Janne,
Thank you for your feedback! This flute I played on keys., but there was one that was actually played on flute by a talented wind player Pamath, that me+pipeline made into a User Track, that are very similar to RT's
Here is the link, download the one pipeline shared, it is most accurate:

Misha

Really nice work on all aspects of the song. Loved the flute, what did you use to get the Jethro Tull effect?

Excellent.

Excellent as per usual, Misha.

Love the flute, especially in the intro before the instrumentation gets too dense.

Vocal is a bit buried for my tastes, I would like to be able to make out the lyrics better because the write itself is brilliant.

Always enjoy hearing your stuff, looking forward to more in 2023!

Hi Misha,

Looks you were in a hurry with this song. You wrote you had not much time lately and that you can hear in the tempo of this wonderful song.
And about the song: a real, genuine Misha song! That's for sure.
As Marty wrote; so much is hapening here, that's exactly what is going on. But in most of your songs that's the case.
And I liked everything I heard, the drums, the flute, you, the lyrics.

one tiny thing: Dave wrote your vocals to be a bit burried in the song, I had the opposite. You sang so close to the mike it looked like a little distortion took place. But as I said, a minor thing. I enjoyed your song a lot!
And I just happened to finish a song that deals with the same issues you sang about. Don't know yet when I will place it on the forum, but we'll see.

Loved this one (I think I told you that before),
Hans

Misha,

What a cool vibe this song has! I really love the gritty backing supporting the excellent vocals! This sounds FANTASTIC! Your songs have layers of complexity in them that I hope the listeners in this forum are taking time to appreciate! If not, it's a shame because you are a very talented composer, arranger and producer!

Thanks, T

"When faded billboards lose their meanings
Keep on running - don't stop moving
Dejavu flashing neon signs:
-"I have seen this movie”

Wow … what a way to begin a great song.

That’s some soulful rock, Misha!

Excellent lyric that so eloquently describes current affairs.

The band is awesome and we love the Jethro Tull vibe.

Vocals sound great, as does the mix.

Happy Holidays!

J&B

PS And we are always down with a shuffle!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
