re!

amicalement

Alceste

Thank you for posting your solution.

Some further information that may be beneficial:

There are a few ways to associate file types with Band-in-a-Box. Here are two:

A) You can use the menu item in Band-in-a-Box "File | File Utilities | Associate File types". HOWEVER, you need to be running BIAB as an administrator because it requires changes to the registry. Right-click on bbw64.exe in Explorer and select "Run as admin". Then select the menu option above and it will work.

B) C:\bb\Data\Installers\bbfileassoc.exe
Run this small installer. HOWEVER, some versions have a bug with the latest versions of Windows - download and use this one. I should be dated November 2022 or later.

Either of these methods should register ALL the different BIAB file types, .MGU, .SGU, .MGX, etc.

B) C:\bb\Data\Installers\bbfileassoc.exe
