The march of the lead guitarists continues. Thanks to those who commented and suggested. Most suggestions were implemented in some way. The video has a really, really bad running pun for those who are familiar with the era. Not a good one mind, just a running one. CRT Audio Master

You are always so entertaining, Ray. Love the video, too. Yes, great solo by David Smith, who sounds like a bandleader in the march. You and Bandi Nahbox make a terrific backup group.
Your videos are always very intriguing. I always wonder how you come to that. You have to be a bit 'special' to think of this. The same counts for your songs, strange, you love them or not, but only you can make them. And I like them. Not always for the melody, but they are very recognizable and actually also quite moving.
This song has all in it I just wrote. So, it's a good song!
Ray, very nice. I've always liked this song and thought the video was very good. Great ideas in both. I really liked the video portion you did with the lead guitar break. I don't have a clue about making videos, but I sure thought that was a neat effect.
Ray, Cool laid back tune! Neat vibe. One of your best vocals hands down and situated well in the mix. Mr.Smith worked out a perfect solo. Very smooth. Listened to this on different headphones. Excellent and artful mix/mastering. Good effort on video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks folks, The puns aren't great but exist. The most obvious is the use of images of TV related technology. A reference t o the influence. The 2nd is a double edged one of the generic term for those who speak/commentate/present news on television and another band from the CBGB's era who, along with Blondie, brightened the charts for a while. The pun is that there are none of what that generic term refers to in the video.

Like others, not sure I’m catching the puns . . . but no matter, because the tune is terrific and the video engaging. Really catchy, with great guitar hooks throughout—like that solo a ton! Vocal for me is just right and really complements the outstanding music bed. Killer work on this!
I agree with Floyd - very catchy, indeed! And, as Brad said, the video behind the lead guitar was great! That beat is a bit if an ear bug. And don't sell yourself too short on the vocals - perfect for this song. Cool song - cool video! what more could we ask for?
Puns only work when there is a strong cultural/linguistic commonality between the teller and the receiver. If you weren't watching/listening/reading about the prepunk music of NY from 76 to 80 you'd have Buckley's Chance, (another pun misunderstood by most Australians), of catching them. Sorry. I used to use a couple of puns, (visual or written), to start the school day in the 2010-16 era. It help illustrate the bias of the language & it's use PLUS working them out /explaining them expanded the vocabulary of everyone involved. It's something kids from eight to twelve lapped up. There's an additional "pun" based Led Zeppelin playing behind the last Dazed & (still) confused line:the actual vid is of them performing that song in C1970.

We already liked the song and the video is a fun accompaniment for it. It was a cool representation of the different tv technology thru the years and had us reminiscing.
And, hey, including footage of Led Zeppelin during the last “dazed and still confused” was a nice surprise.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
