OP HopelessRomantic Enthusiast H Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 15 China	I am doing okay by following along with bass notation in jazz standards. I know how to generate simple lines. Does anyone have any other ideas for sight reading bass practice in BIAB? I am not a complete beginner. I am looking for fun and not too easy, not too difficult. Edit: I guess what I am really asking for is a stash of BIAB files that will help me practice bass reading (double bass; bass guitar). Last edited by HopelessRomantic; 03/20/23 05:53 AM.

Don't worry, at that level, most of the players aren't much better than you—perhaps they're worse. It worked for me back in 1968. Bass was 50% of my music income till my stroke forced my retirement in 2009. If not then that is the place to start. Using MIDI styles or RealTrack styles that have MIDI charts are ideal for practicing. Choose styles that you are not accustom and follow the bass notation. Change speed to slowly add the amount of difficulty. Yeah, I've got O.C.D, Old, Cranky, and Dangerous. 64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
