Vocal Wizard can be used not only for human voices but can also be extended for instruments. Vocal wizard can be used to check your melody range performance, when you transpose songs, especially with an acoustic instrument. That can avoid to get a BIAB song in which the trumpet is playing like in a bass guitar range or a tenor sax playing like a piccolo … Vocal Wizard has only 8 presets. Instead of adding 128 GM presets names, it could be better to be able to choice an instrument thru a user list (for ex. a *.txt), in which instrument ranges have been entered. So, we have not enter the instrument range each we need it. Furthermore, we need to get the possibility to enter custom ranges of instruments. For ex., range for a young trumpet player could be different for an adult player with 10 years of practice.
