We generally use all background instruments from BIAB: - rhythm guitars, keys/piano, harp, strings, pedal steel, etc. Usually swap out the drums (But now with BIAB drum stems, looking fwd to trying those). All guitar solos by Kevin (left) & JD (right). Bass by Kevin, and vocals by JD. Always mixed & mastered in Pro Tools by JD Oppen in Ontario, Canada www.thundersoundstudio.caWe have been using BIAB ever since our 2nd album. Will post more. Hope ya’s like it. Cheers! JD

Nice power blues. Very good vocals and ace played solo parts. Drums are sound hot it places, but I guess that is how you wanted them. Clear mix & listens well. Thank you for sharing.

Hi guys, nice guitar work! I thought the intro was a little long before the vocals came in - though that gave more time to listen to those guitars. Sounded like you were having some fun here. I also thought the drums were a bit loud in places, but then I have a tendency to mix them too low on my stuff. Keep 'em comin'!

Thanks all, glad ya's like the tune. Yes, definitely was a blast playing & recording, and using BIAB to help write tunes. As to some of the comments, we do tend to have some longer intros & solo passages. We mostly record to play solos, LOL. As for drums sometimes being a bit dominant, yeah... I played & toured in a metal band for over a decade - some habits are hard to shake. My main band is also a much heavier blues band. So, I sometimes mix or master a little heavy. As well, I still mix & master hard rock & metal bands. It generally fits our blues-rock style, so it's usually on purpose... but I will admit the drums are a little busy in some spots & so they kinda pop out a bit. My drummer doesn't listen very well, hahaha.
