Chris did a video for our latest song and had some fun using some random clips of Marty and myself that we had shot for previous videos.
I think by using the forum media tag for the video instead of a straight link, it will bypass all the YouTube commercials?

You Always Meet Twice (2023, Chris Spruit)
Someone said if you carry on trying to break the rules you might think that you get away with this poor behavior Breaking the rules of some ones life without blinking But It ain't cool to spill your fuel of this cruel cool heart
Take your time and choose well wise what you have in mind you are so convinced that you are right a mastermind
But life has a rule you always meet twice and bring that to mind in the hour you die Then we will be wise
Chorus: Cause The best you can does not cut it for them They yell the privileged lie cause they are blind to that eye
No this ain't cool Don't spill your fuel into a burning heart of this cruel, cool, heart

I like orchestration. Guitar solo and bass playing. The singer's voice is very captivating. It's sweet, it's nice and everything is super well done with this video. nice collaboration.
Bravi. Top notch vocals from Chris, brilliant in every way from everyone else. Modern, sleek and "cool" sounding :-) One that I want to hear again. Well done.
Well...everything about that was cool! my first thought is how remarkable Chris's voice is...man that girl can sing!! Dave your solo work is crazy good and the tone you're getting is as smooth as butter...Marty is Mr. Consistent and the roundness and body of the bass tone is spot-on for the song...the skill level at which you guys perform and record is pro-level IMO...the video is the icing on the cake and seems to indicate that you guys are having great fun doing what you love! another super song and super performance!!

You are who you are because you do what you do because of what you believe.
You three did a great job, and even though I didn't get the video, it was fun to see the outtakes from you. Good song, good vocals, good guitar noodling and even the white bearded guy with that weird looking 4-string guitar did a good job
And, I think I've never mentioned this, your mixes sound really good, Dave.

Dave, I've said this before (and I've said it many times to peeps you don't know) that you and Chris are incredible songwriters. Listening to you guys with your back-and-forth suggestions while you're building the song is almost as rewarding as playing on them and listening to them. Cool video too. Reminds me of some of the fun we had making songs. More to come...
I enjoyed this fine video Chris did! It was great to so see you all in a music production setting! It makes the music much more entertaining and reveals a little more of your personality!(That Marty must be quite a character to be around lol!) The tune is great with killer performances by all 3! Thanks, TB

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
