Hi Dan,
Man, what a great song! One of my favorites from you I think. Such a great groove, and I love the sound of the baritone.
And of course Marty is right on the money as per usual!
Excellent, listened a couple of times.

Thanks so much for the invite, Dan. I always loved your sound and it was cool to be a part of it. I told my wife that I was doing a song with Elvis (from England ). Of course being a bass player I opted for the Las Vegas Elvis, but I'm glad you stuck with me, and gave me another chance. Man, what a fun song --for both bassists.

Dan and Marty, First of all love the Elvis treatment on the vocal and vocal effects, totally works! This song is great! It's also great Dan to hear you kind of break out and venture into styles we don't normally hear you do! It was a proper choice to have Marty lay down that bass track! Nobody does a better job and it's always solid and just what is needed! This is a great showcase item for forum collaborations and I enjoyed it!
Thanks, TB

Toe-tapping country! Grooving all the way through.
Strong Elvis vibe with the vocal, in a good way. Nice piano, too!

Janice said that she can attest that your song is also a great way to start the day. She first listened with a cup of coffee while watching the birds this morning. This is a delightful collab with joyous performances and an uplifting lyric. Excellent vocals, as always, Dan, and we agree with others about the Elvis gospel vibe. We also enjoyed the chicken pickin’ and “happy” piano and Marty laid down the perfect bass for this old time gospel celebration. Enjoyed it! J&B

Dan,
That’s a real toe-tapper . . . Great write, terrific vocals, excellent production elements (including that slick bass playing by Mr. Marty). What’s not to like here . . . nuthin’. It’s all really good. Great work on this reproduction—never heard the original but find it hard to believe it could top this version. Excellent!
All my best to you,
Deej

Howdy Dan, just getting around to listening to this ... fantastic! Very fun! Good job choosing Marty to pick on this one, he's always spot on and provided a lot of drive to this sound. The guitars you chose also fit the style very well. I really liked your piano pickin' on this one and your vocals are always great. Good song all the way around.
