https://www.reverbnation.com/kaynemusic/song/33986247-shoutThis is an interesting production, its my first using Synthesizer V Kevin. I tried (for many hours) to get him to sing the whole verse, but it wasn't working. So he is singing the higher parts that I cannot hit. I am also playing the guitar parts, and the synth lines. Very cool. This sounds like a Kiss meets the Cars, song with the guitar work... back in the good old days.
Kevin is a cool voice. So if I understand correctly.... you're singing and he's hitting the high/harmony notes? Keep working on Kevin, it is a good voice from what I have heard on the net.
Nice mix too. It's full of energy. You have the drums, especially the ride sounding good. Echos of the Cars on the vox and the 70's synth fill.

Excellent work on mixing in the synth voice. Man, there is some terrific guitar work in there. The drums are driving strong, and the whole band responds. I looked above to see what hyou used for the synth parts, and said, "Holy crap, that's a lot of guitars." Such a good mix and a very enjoyable listen, Elliott. {I stayed for another round with a Strange World.} As always, your production and mix is outstanding.

Kiss playing Stones chorus riffs with Eric Carmen singing? The vocals, yours & its, sound slightly above the mix. The synth part does give it a The Cars vibe. "ice-cream profanities" nice one.

What a cool mix Elliot. Boy do I love those drums. You have created so much space for each of the instruments. Was just a wall of sound in my studio. What an excellent rocker. Cool vocal and harmonies. Guitars were perfect and the bass "wow"

Well, SHOUT has a BIG sound and it ROCKS! Great lyric, band and performances by you and Kevin. We’re glad, however, that you kept your voice as the lead. Among many fine lines are these: “Watch the news on the tv All I see is hate and death and war I sip my morning coffee And wonder what we do this for” Well done! J&B

Man, those guitars really work - catchy as heck retro! Nit-picking, rayc mentioned the vocal is a bit above the mix - you've got them doubled, but it would be nice to hear a bit more reverb on them to bring them into the mix. Cool earworm.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
