Well, I finally was able to find some time to write and mix a new tune! Whew, what a month! Anyway, I am really stoked, because I was able to hit a B4 at the end of the tune, and actually hold it--twice. Last time I checked I was stuck on G4 so I am making progress. Hope you like it. The main piano part was fun to play.

1st thing I noticed was the centre of the sound stage was very crowded...perhaps move the acoustic over to the right to balance the piano.
B4 galore....and twice.
Good one, another semi confessional self assessment lyric that works well.

Great lyricist, singer, and the master of many instruments.
I really liked this one.
Super vocal range.
As previously said this one is brilliant!

Great energy!!! I agree that that things could be separated out a bit and not sound so center dense (at least on my studio headphones). The vocals are raw and honest and that's good in these days of Blah and Bland. I enjoyed this one, as I said...great energy and good songwriting. Unload the center just a bit and I'm all in.

Hey David...really great song...man can I identify with this one! somedays you hope that the effects of Father Time would or could back off a bit but he is who he is I guess...as stated earlier, the energy is great...I listened through my studio speakers so I can't comment on the panning...I'll leave that to the headphone guys...nevertheless I really like the song and the B4 was superb! best regards...Dan

I can't tell you how much it elates me to see you so active in the forum these days! I remember a time when you were absent for quite a while and the forum suffered from it! You are a vital part of this community!

Good, relatable lyrics, "I'll keep looking for a sign / try to figure out my mind / Before I lose it". Classic hit song material that grows on every listen, sounds like the song was made effortlessly. Pleasant melody and nice chord progression. Smooth band with nice drum groove. The piano reminds me nicely of The Way It Is. Enjoyable familiar vocals and good that you had one of those days to reach that high note Janne

B(4)!?! Sheesh, I couldn't get there even with shock treatment. I thoroughly enjoy your creative output, David. Excellent vocal style. Fun chord changes and melody, and that piano is sounding really good. One of these days... yeah, great title with so many ways to take it, and your lyrics are terrific. Well done!! Had to listen twice. Damn, tht B(4) is perfect --and strong.
