Bridge to the Garden of Magic Deep into the Forest of the Trolls is hidden the Bridge to the Garden of Magic. Many have died trying to find it and only a few have succeeded. Of those only a very few have crossed into the Garden of Magic. But the fairies' soulful flute and vocals keep calling, luring, and confusing all whom enter the forest. This is an experiment using cinematic orchestra MIDI loops in a BiaB style that lacks strings. BiaB style = Vivid Cinematic Guitar - using the MIDI charts Tempo = 60 BPM I only used the bass and piano tracks. Bass - Kontakt - Kirk Hunter's Virtuoso Basses Piano - Waves - Grand Rhapsody The next four tracks a cinematic orchestra MIDI loops slightly modified to better fit the song: Choir - Kontakt - Amadeus - full choir Strings - Kontakt - Amadeus - full string ensemble Staccato Strings - Kontakt - Amadeus - full string ensemble Cello - Kontakt - Kirk Hunter's Virtuoso cellos I am playing the flute via my wind controller and the solo violin and vocal via my keyboard controller. Flute - Kontakt - Fairytale Flute - Nordic Legions Solo violin - Kontakt - Kirk Hunter's violin romantic Soprano - EastWest - Play - soprano As always all comments are welcomed.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Mario ...
Very nice and fully cinematic. It's a full and enveloping sound that just pulls the listener in. I really enjoyed when the voices came in at 2:15.
A most pleasant and engaging listen. Nice!!!

Magical atmosphere, surely has feeling of walking deep in the forest. Choirs and violins create lush background for the beautiful luring flute, I feel I'm under a spell.
I can imagine there could be also troll steps or the sound of fairy wings from percussions?
Excellent wizardry combining all those instruments for this harmonious garden.

Mario,
This is a thing of beauty! Love the delicate touch of the flute sound! The surrounding strings really envelope the sound in a perfect way! No-one around here creates these wonderful soundscapes like you do! Excellent!
Thanks, TB

Oh my word. Ever so stunning. I'd say: one of your best, but, then again, all of your songs and tracks are ever so brilliant, it's hard to say which one is "better" BRAVO, BRAVO.

Nicely done. I like how it was growing and evolving throughout.
The ending was kind of abrupt. Maybe a longer fade with held chord while the flute or wind chimes do something light and airy perhaps?

Thanks, TB Thanx Torrey. I keep trying to improve my soundscape productions and those very inexpensive MIDI orchestral loops help a lot. I am learning a lot from them.

It's a rather sudden start Mario...all in on beat 1. You've created a lovely soundscape. Those strings on the right playing staccato could use a little something - a slight delay or a smidge more reverb on their end notes. Other than that I sat n listened. For a dude with a guitar in his hands in his avatar you certainly are a MIDI master.

Oh, yes, it's hard to tell which direction that magic flute is actually emanating from. I could wander around in this musical melee and never be disappointed. The way you pave the path to that garden is filled with so much magic itself that is is not disappointing to never reach the prize. The prize is the way.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
