Moving On

Moving on into a genre other than the magical gardens and fairies new age ambient genre.

BiaB style - Slow Hop - Smooth Jazz - Relaxed
Tempo - 85 BPM

I deleted the guitar track
Bass - Ample Bass - YinYang - lop Jam
Piano - Keys of the 70s - Stage Mark 73 Full - the lead is from EZKeys
Strings - split - strings 1 = Kontakt - Amadeus and Kirk Hunter Virtuoso Strings - both full string sections
Strings 2 - same as strings 1 but the MIDI is from a MIDI loop designed for brass stabs.
Drums - Steven Slates - SSD5

I am playing the nylon string guitar and via my wind controller the flute: Kontakt - Crystal Flute

As always all comments are welcomed.

Hi Mario ...

Perky, yet calming. I like the layering as the song progresses. I like the sudden turn at 1:36 - refreshing (and again at 2:41). And that bass line is almost hypnotizingly delightful!

Nice in every facet - loved it!

Alan

Very lovely Mario!

Whenever I need to relax and chill, you are my go-to guitar man...and wind controller!!

Hey maybe that could be another one of your tag lines!

I control my wind most of the time, but only when I am at my computer!!!

smile

We liked what Al said, "Perky, yet calming."

As always your performances are great ... via both the controller and guitar.
The bass track is very nice.

The overall dynamics and the gentle builds are most effective.

Cool listen indeed!

Mario,
Fun, whimsical tune. Wind phrases are spot on. Sweet nylon guitar. I think drums could be a bit beefier, otherwise excellent effort!
Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

I would use the word "fanciful" to describe this.
Your guitar work is great.
Good job.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Hi Mario,

Your second song I'm listening to today.
First a lovely waltz and now a lovely..., ehh yes it's lovely but what genre.?
I loved the swirling flutes, the strings and the joyfull twists in this lovely melody.
I told you, you are a man of all seasons, and you are!

Very creative and, as I said before, very lovely!

Hans

Sorry, but all I hear when you play flute is fluttering fairies.

Funky fluttering fairies, but still... wink

Cool change at 1:40.

Mellow tune, fun listen.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

I am always amazed at what you do with the wind controller.
Nice soothing music, great combination of flute, guitar and electric piano.
The drums could be a little less busy.

Mario,

Very nicely done. Slick arrangement, like how you add instruments along the way and then dial it back and so on. Rey easy in the ears. Yeah, that bass is really good. Some mighty fine playing by you. Well done!

All my best,

Deej

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
