Just ordered an HX stomp to use for gigging. Plan to run it through a QSC 10.2

Looking at the mountains of after market stuff for sale (and some for free) on line.
From artist style presets to many many speaker cabinet IR


I feel I can build my own basic (FenderVibrolux, Plate Reverb, slight compression) pretty quickly in the editor. Most sim's I've used have that down pretty well at this point.

But a couple of presets would be worth a few $$ to kick start the process on some other tones. I'm thinking about a nice lead sustain tone like Carlos Santana.

Also, any feedback on goodness/badness of using IR's. Do they really work?

Any Line6 HX stomp users could recommend some sites to visit and perhaps some sites to stay away from.

I don't mind paying fairly for quality work. Everyone needs to eat.

A lot of what sells for $$ on the internet is a lot less than quality.
