Floyd & Bud,
Awesome opening!
Love the song and the production. Exceptional mix.
10 guitars - WOW! The solo electric is perfect.
Floyd, your vocal is great. In the pocket and in the groove.
Great, great stuff!

Hey this sounds really great Floyd and everybody. Those drums are awesome. What is the Fx chain? I wanna use that Thanks, David. The drums are processed using a Studio One Preset (S1 Drumgroup) which includes an EQ and a MultiBand Compressor. The extra "pop" on the snare is because I doubled the BIAB snare with a snare from Addictive Drums.

Great song! Almost anthemic to a degree in my opinion. It feels confident to me without sounding cocky. Some of these types of songs can go there or the opposite way of just begging. I like how the two of you handled it very much so. Love the rhymes that were chosen. They give a nice ring without sounding nursery rhyme-ish in the least. That many guitars being used without them just "on" all the time shows intention in the sound you were looking for and used diversity to get it. Man is that appreciated by this listener and fan. There is just something about the combination of the hooks and lyrics that has me really liking this song. Of course the music and production support all of it to make it shine. It was nice you grabbed Kenny A to play on it. Damn guys, nice drums! Great job you two! I guess what they say is true. Country is just 3 chords, on ten guitars, and the truth. Or something like that.

Love the feel and groove of your song, and as usual terrific vocal performance from you. As a songwriter you might not like to hear this comment, but the production is really, really good. Powerful but clean guitars, great drums, great bass and still plenty of room for your vocals. I take my hat off to you guys. It doesn't get any better than this! Oh, and thanks for bringing RT 1000 to my attention. That's exactly what I would have needed for my last song

Without knowing 10 guitars and 2 basses were used I would have never been the wiser. That's a testament to good mixing.
As usual, very pro-polished. You guys should collab on more songs.
Great job.

Awesome co-write, gents! An ordinary phrase turned into a great hook, well done. Starting with the chorus on this one was spot on. Great vocals as usual Floyd.

Floyd and Bud, Nashville country at its absolute best. Loved those drums (thanx for the mixing tip) Great vocal, as usual I really love your lyrics, I wish that I had talent like that. I doubt that I could have mixed all of those guitars and have it come out half as good as your mix, great job on that. Loved this one.

Lots of guitars abut there's space in the mix and no mush - well done. I love the snare but the kick is a little batter head/clicky for me...it's a hard work around and most BIBA RealDrums seem to have it these days. REALLY good narrative and the playfulness of the lyric underwrites a sad story well. The voice is, as always, the thing and the performance is wonderful. Thanks, chaps, for the chance to listen.

Good one, guys!
Very clever using the different guitars to build the intensity as the song progresses. Wasn't mad about the tone on the guitar solo, a little thin for my tastes, but not much you can do about that. Drums sounds great!
Excellent write, and of course, excellent vocal.

Hi Floyd and Bud,
As everyone here, I was also counting the guitars and basses you used in the song and wondering how this could be kept alright. But you both succeeded wonderfully! A lovely song, top vocals and lyrics (of course, because it is Floyd) and a powerful performance. Thanks for sharing how you managed the sound of the drums. I can put that into practice, I think...

Floyd and Bud...now that's some great writing (I expect nothing less at this point from you guys)...super vocals Floyd...I love the build in the song and using so many RTs must have taken a while to figure out but it is seamless and such a great track! everything everyone else have said...well I'll get on the bandwagon for sure...I'm always blown away by your stuff...I hope you have an avenue to pitch your song on up the food chain 'cause they are always top-tier!

Big sound, big chorus, clean mix, well sung, nice harmonies, easy to hear everything, excellent hook, in your face guitar solo... Lots of tracks, but used selectively so everything sounds organic. Great work, as usual.

Hi Floyd,
It's been a while, but it's good to see that you haven't lost your ability to produce Radio Ready songs. With SO many realtracks you still managed to give space to everything and the mix is fabulous. Great lyrics, great vocals and even a guitar solo - you must have known I was coming.
It's good to be back. Best, ROG

FJ & Bud, Nice! Good message - excellent delivery. I think that is the most tracks I have seen in your tunes, but unlike the mud that I get when I get track greedy, this sounds absolutely great. Clear mix and listens very well. Thank you for sharing and congrats of successful colab.
Misha.
P.S. FJ, I rarely have constructive suggestions on your tunes, but I think the drum break at 2:42 doesn't sound right. Meaning, you have large sounding drums, and sudden muffle without feedback makes it a little strange to my ears.

User Tip: How to add drum fills without changing any other tracks
MarioD has shared some great advice when it comes to adding drum fills without changing any other tracks in your song:
There have been a number of questions asking how to add drum fills without changing any other tracks in a song. This is especially important if one is holding a chord for a few measures and wants to add a drum fill prior to the next chord. The following is how to accomplish that:
1-get the instruments/tracks to play like you want but don't worry about the drums for now.
2-generate the song.
3-freeze all tracks
4-unfreeze the drum track
5-add your fills where you want them
6-generated the song again - note this will only generate the drum track and not the frozen tracks
7- when you get the drums like you want them freeze the track
