Did the "My Stuff" menu pick get deleted in the new Oct 4 forum website?
If so, can it be brought back?

Aren't the items inside the blue shape the same items that would have been in 'My Stuff'? Or have I missed the point? I presume that a specific item named 'My Stuff' doesn't exist any more. But the link to your username shows the content that 'My Stuff' used to show. Please correct me if I haven't got that right.

Prior to Oct 4 I was able to pull down a menu called "My Stuff" and in that menu I could see all the posts that I have generated. It is these posts that I can't find after Oct 4. I hope my, yours and everyone elses posts are still available in one place for us to easily find and read as we were able to do earlier this week. I'm not talking about the posts of all 38,000 members here. Rather, I'm talking about a small subset of posts that will allow you to view the posts you have generated and me to view the posts I have generated.

Rather, I'm talking about a small subset of posts that will allow you to view the posts you have generated and me to view the posts I have generated. OK, there is a way to do that: Steps: 1: Select Member List option at the top centre of the page 2: Enter your name 3: Press Search: 4: Click on the Display Name: 5: Click on the Total Posts link: You should see all of your own posts.

Much simpler than these 5 points, if I may say so. Click on your name then on the number of messages, and you have access to all your messages. And if you want to see someone's posts, just click their name then click the last line. Easy. .

Thanks guys; problem solved. Prior to the change-over you could hit "My Stuff" and then I think, "My Posts". Now it's hit your name and then hover on your post count and then hit "Your Posts". I was thinking this capability might have been eliminated.
Do you have access to a description of all the changes made to the forum web page or do you hunt, peck and explore thru trial and error?

I really like the dark theme. Very easy for my old eyes to read.

I don't know yet, Eddie. I've tried Dark Mode at night, where it might be useful to reduce eye strain, blue light emission, etc. but right now in the day I don't care for it. Still, I always support PG Music giving us choices.

For my eyes, the white on black that removed the bright white screen shining in my eyes works well. Anything I do that has a dark mode option, I take it. But that's just how my eyes react. I have a bit of light sensitivity. I wear sunglasses almost all the time.

Perhaps they will add a few more themes. I’m still using the beige-oriented colors Allanah designed for BIAB a decade ago. It makes all the bright white go away.

Imagine how happy multiple options would make people with colorblindness and such. I can say first hand that if anybody has cataracts, get them removed. After the 2nd eye (they did them 3 weeks apart), 2 days later I was sitting at the computer and suddenly said "Damn! I am NOT wearing glasses!!!"

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
