I recently returned home from a 5 month RV trip to the Northeast. As always I managed to cross paths with some unusual and interesting folks. This year I met a man who was traveling by himself half the year as he has for the last ten years. His wife refused to travel anymore so he went by himself. She divorced him and after two years moved back into his house where for the last 8 years they continue to live for half the year as roommates. He now is in the process of selling the house, so where they go now is the question. I found it all very confusing and after he told me this strange story he said “Well there you go”. It rolled around in the back of the song truck until I got home and then it fell out. This is the end result. Thanks for listening. Hi Tom.
This is superb listening! It's been a long time since I last heard one of your songs and I'm seriously blown away at just how fantastic this sounds. You've manage to use BIAB along with your home studio to perfection.

Hi, Tom. Man, I really like how you get inspiration for you songs. Better than that I REALLY like what you create from those inspirations. So well-written. Excellent lyrics sung so well, and the harmony brings it over the top. Excellent musicans, especially what you add. Here I am, and there you go. Yeah, I'll follow ya anywhere.

Super nice tune and wonderfully performed. Mix is perfect. The vocals jump right out but sound very warm. Cool backstory, too. Great job!

Tommy comes back with a killer song! This is top shelf all the way. Outstanding guitar licks. Great backing tracks and mix. This is something John Prine would sing and I say that as a big compliment.

Fabulous song but I REALLY didn't like the reverb/delay/spring slap part of the intro guitar. It made more sense when the snare joined it but I'm still not a fan.

I like it. And I like how you grab things from your journeys and incorporate them into your writing.
My favorite of your is still Waterline. I have to drop in to your site periodically and have a listen to that one.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Hi Tom ...
What a terrific, cool song! I'm on listen #2 as I type this. Love the simplicity of the arrangement. Simplicity isn't all that easy if you're looking for a full sound. Yet you pull it off so perfectly. welcome back, and thanks for giving us this treat.
Take care,
Alan

Lovely understated lyrics. Wonderful song, Tom. My only sugg would be to try and downplay the first chorus a tad by leaving out something so as to build to the final choruses. It may not work though. Vic
