There really should be an ipad app forum right? But the app appears to be extremely limited from what I can see. I think for live performance the thing to do would be to bounce out clips and put them in some other app for live use.
The iOS app appears really minimal and not very useful.
Ok, thanks - was thinking if ways of playing it live. With markers one could simply jump to different sections. I guess the PG folks don't really see it as a live show tool. Pity, I think has the potential to be a killer live stage app. Subbing down to recorded tracks, I might as well use pro backing tracks!
A good number of people on this forum use BIAB to create pro level backing tracks that we use to perform on stage.
Don't underestimate the quality of tracks you can produce. Everything you need honestly.
However, Not all of us agree on the performance approach.
Some use BIAB with their computers on stage.
Others (that would be at least me ) use an IOS device (IPAD) to perform on stage with non-BIAB software (using mp3's)for playback.
For me its a quicker, easier, more reliable, simpler to backup, approach than BIAB at a gig.
Its simply better....... for me.
In my world One tool doesn't get it done.
I use BIAB & my DAW in the studio and IOS onstage.
