Hi Folks. Here is my politically incorrect Halloween tune. This was relatively fast write. Tamara Volskaya volunteered to record domra. Big thanks to Marty for read proof / corrections. All comments are welcomed and thank you for listening! Pumpkin Dreams Of Halloween Organization of farmers growing genetically modified pumpkins.. Animals don't want to eat them, They lay like the sea mines, smiling at the moon from the fields they were born in. Hey Mr. Werewolf, gentleman Vampire, witches (that) flying in the night, pleasing their desires. Love in air: ghouls and zombies, Frankie and a hunchback... Ohh I have met some scarier monsters during business lunch breaks. Association of dentists, keeping a low profile at Halloween festivities. Their future secure, from consumed tons of sugar thousands upon thousands cavities.... Confederation of bullies, stashing eggs in their backpacks. Cautious people crossing street, walking with umbrellas Staying very far away from these angry fellas. Hey Mr. Werewolf, gentleman Vampire, witches (that) flying in the night, pleasing their desires, pulling eyes from their sockets, scratching their bloody warts Ohh I've met some scarier monsters at a local Quick Mart. Really excellent creativity here! Brilliant arrangemnet, the music 100% for haloween, ditto the vocals, plus the lyrics are really clever and funny. I particularly like the opening: "Organization of farmers / growing genetically modified pumpkins / Animals don't want to eat them".
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #17: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #69: Bring consciousness to it. #74: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #105: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Cool! Clever lyrics, great backing - frightening good. The domra really puts it over the top.

I've got to be honest. I read the lyrics and enjoyed them, but had no idea the song could be SO amazing. Really love your vocals and vocal production, and the entire band was perfectly aligned with the song. Really nice.

Whatever you used for the mandolin like part - fabulous - really added a special something. the solo and those percussive held chords add dread. REALLY good fun but also a warning. ACE

Politically incorrect is one of the things I like most about you, Misha. HA! Love this magical music you create. You have a genre all your own. Your lyrics are always filled with head-turning-what-did-he-say quotes. I like what DC Ron wrote about reading your lyrics, then being amazed by the song. That is the way I love to apprach your songs. There is no way I could come up with something as cool as you. You master this genre, my friend.

We read the lyric first and loved it and your wry sense of humor. This line had us both chuckling: “Ohh I have met some scarier monsters during business lunch breaks.” The imagery is priceless throughout. Your vocals sound great and Tamara’s domra is delightful! Great choice of tracks ... so much happening but everything has it's cooperative space. The soundstage on our monitors is outstanding. Excellent! J&B PS Stay incorrect!

You've been quite prolific lately, haven't you?
So cool. The song should replace "The Monster Mash" as a Halloween standard.
Once again, I am fascinated by your instrumentation choices and musical arrangement.

Funny and scary lyrics about modern time monsters, children and adults be aware, zombies have met their slayer. Another creative and innovative instrumentation built around the enjoyable chord progression and tasty melody. Domra and electric guitars create a mysterious tapestry of sound. And vocals are sharper than vampire teeth.

Hi Misha.
What an amazing creation! You've captured the vibe of Halloween very, very well.
Words that came to mind as I listened were: creative, clever, lots of fun, very inventive, a pleasure to listen to.
Everything about this overflows with outstanding creativity.
Loved it! --Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
